OUR HISTORY

Little balance, a young, innovative French SME specializing in weighing equipment and small household appliances.

In 2013, in the heart of the Beauce region of France, Didier Cadeau, a weighing expert, founded Little Balance. He quickly surrounded himself with enthusiasts from related fields (water filtration, small household appliances, weighing...) who devoted their time, energy and creativity to the development of this French-owned family business.

From the outset, Little Balance has offered a complete range of high-quality bathroom and kitchen scales. The young company quickly became a key player in the consumer weighing market, distinguishing itself from the brands we've always known from our parents and grandparents by constantly innovating:

  • Connected cardio-impedance meters,
  • Kinetic technology
  • USB-R technology
  • New materials...

In 2018, Little Balance launches its first Winter range of small appliances with waffle makers, crepe makers, raclettes and fondues. The company thus begins its diversification, with four objectives:

  • To listen to consumers' needs and offer them products with innovative, clever and practical features.
  • Make "home cooking" with fresh, healthy products easy to do on a daily basis
  • Offer stylish and elegant products that consumers love to use
  • All at the right price

Since then, we've been constantly innovating and have developed a wide range of small appliances, from homemade cooking to outdoor, breakfast, sous-vide and hairdressing appliances!

In 10 years, our little company has grown considerably. We've recruited new employees eager to join us, expanded our premises and now have over 250 references.

Product innovation is in our DNA: we were the first to launch a range of battery-less weighing systems, and are now the segment leader with our Kinetic and USB-R ranges. We were also pioneers in eliminating plastic from our packaging, replacing it with paper and polystyrene with cardboard wedges.

In 2023 we'll be celebrating our 10th anniversary, and we're proud to be helping to protect the planet by having already eliminated two million batteries and plastic bags from our products.

2023 is also the year when :

  • We are delighted to welcome Chef Caro, a graduate of the Ecole Ducasse, to our team. She has joined our Petit Electroménager team to develop a premium kitchen range dedicated to French culinary specialties.
  • We're changing the colors of our logo, refocusing on its main color, while underlining our commitment to the environment, with the final "e" in green, a sign of the responsible dynamic to which we're committed.
  • We're launching our new littlebalance.net website and stepping up our presence on social networks, to strengthen our links with product users.
