Ingredients
- 250g flour
- 30g sugar
- 1 teaspoon orange blossom water
- 1/2 sachet yeast
- 165g butter, cut into cubes
- 3 eggs
Place the flour, sugar, orange blossom (replace with vanilla extract if you prefer), baking powder and eggs in the bowl of your Easy Pâtisserie food processor. Mix well. Then add the softened butter. Once the dough is well amalgamated, cover with a tea towel and leave to rise for an hour in a warm place. Deaerate the dough and store in a cool place for two hours.
Flour your work surface. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 5mm. Cut 5-10 cm diamonds and cut a central slit.
Fry the bugnes in your Happy Frites XL deep fryer at 170°C.
Place the bugnes on kitchen paper and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
