Crème brulée with Air Fryer

Ingredients:

  • 4 egg yolks
  • 340ml full-fat liquid cream
  • 40g sugar
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar

Split the vanilla pod in half and scrape it out.

Place the beans, pod and cream in a saucepan and bring to a gentle boil. Leave to infuse at room temperature. Remove the pod.

Mix the egg yolks and sugar. Add the vanilla cream.

Pour the mixture into 4 ramekins.

Place in the Air Fryer, Desserts program (90°C) for 45 minutes. If you don't think they've cooked sufficiently, continue cooking for another ten minutes.

Chill for at least 4 hours.

Just before serving, sprinkle with brown sugar and caramelize with a blowtorch.
