Ingredients
- 560g pears, cut into small pieces
- half a vanilla pod, split in half
- 440g jam sugar (with jelling agent)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Remove the bowl from the breadmaker. Add the pear pieces to the bowl. Add the sugar and the spoonful of lemon juice.
Split the vanilla pod in half, scrape out the seeds and add to the bowl.
Replace the bowl in the machine. Secure by turning slightly.
Select program 16 "Jam/Compote".
Scald the jars and turn them out onto a clean tea towel.
At the end of the program, remove the bowl from the machine.
Fill the jars, close them and turn them upside down while they cool.
