Donuts at the Air Fryer

Ingredients:

  • 125ml warm water (30°C)
  • 60ml warm milk (30°C)
  • 10g dried baker's yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 65g sugar
  • 60g melted butter
  • 1 egg + 1 yolk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 300g flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Place the water and warm milk in a bowl. Add 1 teaspoon sugar and the 10g dried baker's yeast. Mix and leave to stand for 10 minutes.

Place 65g sugar, 60g melted butter, 1 egg and 1 yolk, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 300g flour and the yeast mixture in the jug of your food processor. Work with the hook to obtain a soft, non-sticky dough.

Cover and leave to rise for an hour.

Deaerate and roll out to 1cm thickness.

Use two cookie cutters of different sizes to make your doughnuts.

Bake them in batches of 4 in your Air Fryer, in the Cakes program, changing the temperature to 180°C, for 5 to 6 minutes.

You can then roll them in powdered sugar, melted chocolate or icing and decorate them!
