Ingredients
- 300g flour
- 50cl semi-skimmed milk
- 75g caster sugar
- 1 sachet vanilla sugar
- 1 sachet baking powder
- 2 eggs
- a pinch of salt
- 100g melted butter
Place the flour in a bowl. Make a well and pour in the salt, sugars and yeast.
Mix well and add melted butter and whole eggs. Gradually stir in milk.
Cover the dough with a tea towel and leave to rest for 1-2 hours in the fridge before
baking the waffles.
Note: these waffles are delicious topped with whipped cream, a few red berries and toasted flaked almonds.
