Nutella ice cream à la Happy Sorbets

Ingredients

  • 40cl whole milk
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 20g sugar
  • 200g Nutella

Recipe

Bring milk to the boil.

Whisk the yolks with the sugar until the mixture whitens and becomes frothy. Pour the milk over the eggs, mixing briskly.

Return to a saucepan over low heat. Do not stop stirring. Add the nutella off the heat and stir vigorously.

Leave to cool (overnight in the fridge) and set in an ice-cream maker for 30 minutes.

Once set, place in the freezer for 1 to 2 hours.

Just before serving, take the ice cream out of the freezer 10 to 15 minutes ahead of time to form pretty scoops.
