Happy Sorbets banana ice cream with chocolate chips

Ingredients

  • 3 bananas
  • juice of half a lemon
  • 50g caster sugar
  • 20cl milk
  • 10cl liquid cream
  • 50g dark chocolate chips

Blend all the ingredients (except the chocolate chips) in a blender or mixer until smooth.

Place in an ice-cream maker for 25 minutes. A few minutes before the end, pour in the chocolate chips.

 

Place the ice cream in a tray in the freezer for 1 to 2 hours before serving, to allow it to harden slightly.

Tip:

Instead of chocolate chips, you can also use hazelnuts roasted in the oven for a few minutes, or praline chips. These go perfectly with the banana. And if you're feeling greedy, there's nothing to stop you adding chocolate chips too!
