Ingredients
- 400 g white fish fillets (cod, hake, hake, etc.)
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 100 g breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- Salt and pepper
- Oil spray (or 1 tablespoon of oil)
- Lime wedges (to serve)

Recipe
Cut fish fillets into medium-sized pieces.
Season with salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder.
Prepare three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten egg, and one with breadcrumbs.
Dredge each piece of fish in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs.
Preheat air fryer to 200°C for 3 minutes.
Place the breaded pieces in the basket of the air fryer, without overlapping them.
Lightly spray the pieces with oil.
Start cooking for 10 to 12 minutes, turning halfway through.
Meanwhile, slice lime wedges and prepare a yoghurt or mayonnaise sauce.
Dredge each piece of fish in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs.
Serve the fish golden brown, accompanied by the lemon wedges and sauce.
